- The essay paper doesn’t have a defined syllabus in the UPSC Mains Syllabus. “Applicants are determined to adhere close to the paper’s topic, integrate their thoughts in an organised manner, and compose succinctly,” according to the UPSC. Accurate and suitable articulation will be rewarded.
- There is GS paper 1, which includes topics from history, geography, etc. There is GS paper 2 then, which includes the topics like accountability and functions etc., of the states as well as the unions. The GS paper 3 consists of economics and agriculture, security, technology, science, etc. The GS paper 4 consists of aptitude, attitude, ethics, etc.
- There will be 2 optional subjects between which one should be chosen by considering all the aspects carefully.
